Cait’s fitness journey started at a very young age. In elementary school she started playing basketball, softball, and soccer. She loved them all! Cait continued to play in recreational leagues, summer leagues, travel leagues, and school teams as well. “I couldn’t get enough! Luckily, my parents didn’t mind driving me all over for practices and games. I owe them!”
Once Cait graduated from high school and ventured off to college, where she didn’t continue playing sports, she ventured into the gym for her fitness fix. “I enjoyed going on my own, and even bringing friend to help them get a good workout.” Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications, Cait moved on to work in that field, while still maintaining a very healthy and active lifestyle. It wasn’t until a few years later that she decided she wanted to take her fitness to the next level, by making a career change.
“With Lara and Angela’s guidance, I got my Personal Training certification through ISSA in 2013, and began working at Boutique Fitness. I have also attended multiple classes to continue my education, including kettlebell training, TRX classes, CPR trainings, and the always amazing Perform Better Training Summit! Lots of great resources and motivation to do what I do, but better.”

Pace yourself! You can’t compare yourself to others. Just because someone else makes it look easy, doesn’t mean it is. Take your time and enjoy the journey.
My favorite exercise is box jumps! They leave you feeling pumped up and powerful. Who doesn’t love that?
