Lisa grew up playing sports, they were always a part of her life. In high school she was a Boston Globe All-star for both tennis and field hockey and subsequently was offered scholarships to college for both sports. Several years after graduating from college, Lisa decided to go to law school and practiced law until her second child was born in 2004. “I have always worked out and dabbled in a little bit of everything over the years (crossfit, spin, aerobics, running), purely for my own benefit until this past year where I became ISSA certified and started coaching at Boutique last June.”
“Boutique has been a great experience for me to be able to make people feel comfortable no matter what their fitness level is. Everybody can improve on some level and we look at progress not perfection.” Lisa lives in Mattapoisett with her husband, David, 2 teenage children, Alex and Maddie and 2 crazy dogs, Boomer and Ted.
Lisa’s favorite workout tips
Lisa’s favorite workouts always include high intensity bursts (think split jumps, jump squats, wall balls) and she loves burpees! Lisa loves to compliment Boutique workouts with a few spin classes a week or some kind of additional aerobic activity.
I like my clients to realize it’s important to be a little out of your comfort zone – that’s where they will start to see results.
