Nicki has loved fitness for as long as she can remember. As a child she was always very active. Nicki danced for 12 years which included ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She also played sports such as soccer, softball, basketball, and field hockey. “I absolutely love the way exercising makes me feel. It’s my go to for reducing stress and improving my overall mood.” Nicki loves trying new workouts which have included aerobics, kick boxing, swimming, yoga, spin, pilates, Zumba, running, surfing, and strength training.
Nicki graduated college with a bachelors degree in psychology and became a licensed social worker. She worked briefly in the field and then chose to stay home with her two children Flynn 16, and Emerson 13. Nicki started as a client at Boutique and loved everything about it. The positive and motivating trainers, the challenging and always changing workouts, and the inspiring clients. “Angela approached me after class one day and asked if I would be interested in becoming a trainer at Boutique. The thought of doing something I love and being able to help others reach their fitness goals was a no brainer”. In 2016 Nicki completed her ISSA certification and started as a trainer at Boutique in our Mattapoisett location.

My best fitness advice is that you can’t out train a bad diet. It is so important for your body to have the proper fuel from food for it to both work effectively and for overall energy. If you are going to put so much effort into exercising, you should put the same amount of effort or more into your nutrition. I also cannot say enough about drinking plenty of water. Staying hydrated has a huge impact on your overall health.
