A New Bedford native, I have just recently moved back to the area after many years away.
While good health and fitness has long been a priority in my life, my journey took a powerful turn years ago when a friend dragged me (kicking and screaming) to my first yoga class. That first downward-facing dog was life-changing: I was hooked!
As long-time advocate for wellness, I promote the importance of bringing balance between strength and mobility. As a registered 500-Hour Yoga Instructor, I bring over 20+ years of experience teaching yoga and am well-trained in the disciplines of Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Power, and Envision Yoga. In addition, I am a qualified Usui Reiki Practitioner, a certified Balanced Athlete coach and have trained in both Assisted Stretch and Thai Yoga Massage techniques.
After many years teaching at Franklin Yoga & Wellness, I purchased the studio and ran a successful business until closing in 2020. I am also a certified Holistic Health Coach, educated through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and guide others to meet their health, wellness and life goals with a clear and compassionate approach.
What I can bring to YOUR experience is a great assisted stretch. Each of us has endless ways in which to grow in strength, in mobility, and in better health. Imagine feeling great, releasing stress, breathing easier, sleeping better each night and gaining endurance.
The journey begins with a single “YES.” Let’s go!
