I’m from Acushnet, MA but I am currently going to school at Bridgewater State University.
I originally got into fitness when I started working out at Boutique Fitness with my mom. Everyone was so encouraging and I enjoyed being around the uplifting energy. Ever since then I enjoyed working out so much to the point that I decided to become a Physical Education and Psychology major at school.
I wanted to be able to help people with fitness so they could feel the same way I did! Ever since then I have grown a tremendous love for not only my own fitness but also teaching others how to work out in ways that are enjoyable!
My favorite exercise is deadlifts. They have a way of making you feel strong and accomplished!
My best tip for anyone: Whether you are just getting started or have been at it for a while, don’t ever get discouraged with yourself. There will be days were you really don’t feel the best and the last thing you want to do is workout. However, once you get there and start moving, even if it’s not the best, you will feel so much better and it will give you that boost of motivation to tackle the rest of your day and your next workout!
