Basic Berry Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1/2 banana (optional)
  • 1 cup almond milk (unsweetened vanilla)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax meal or chia seed
  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (Sun Warrior  is fantastic)
  • 1 large (heaping) handful of baby spinach

Directions

Add a bit of water to get the desired consistency.

Blend and enjoy!!!

Flax seed meal and chia are loaded with fiber, antioxidants and healthy fats. Teamed-up with berries (blueberries are an antioxidant powerhouse), baby spinach (get lean with greens) and a quality protein supplement, this is a breakfast to get you started on the right foot!!!
