Ingredients
- 1 can organic crushed tomatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 a head of garlic (you can make this with just the onion or just the garlic if you want)
- 1 1/2 tbsp oregano
- 1 1/2 tbsp basil
- salt & pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions
- In a sauce pan, cook (med/high heat) the onion and garlic in the olive oil until the onion is translucent (about 5-8 minutes)
- Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 45 minutes.
- Remove the bay leaves and use an immersion blender to puree the sauce.
