For over 17 years I’ve been teaching people how to exercise. Exercise is a powerful tool that helps drastically improve lives. It’s not only important for sustaining health, it’s also vital for helping balance moods and energy. We applaud the inclusion of exercise into our clients’ daily routines and work with them to stay motivated and accountable.
But it’s not enough.
You’ve probably heard us say that you can’t out-train your diet. And while it’s true that weight loss happens in the kitchen, and it’s true that exercise is a tremendous compliment to that effort, it’s also true that diet and exercise alone don’t paint the whole picture of deep health.
Diet and exercise are not the be all and end all.
There are certain factors of our deep health that may actually come between us and our best intentions to eat better and work out on a regular basis. It’s the chase… If I don’t sleep well I skip my workout. If I skip my workout, I don’t eat well. When I don’t eat well, I don’t sleep well…
We all ‘know’ what we need to do to be happy, full of energy, and healthy. But what if it’s not that cut and dry. What if it’s not just about adding exercise and cutting calories, but more about our habits as a whole? And what if you’re so entrenched in your habits that you no longer connect outcomes to them?
When we ask you how you’re doing, and we ask you how you’re sleeping, we really want to know. We also really want to help you make things better. We make suggestions, send newsletters, and offer tips, and we hope that some of it will stick and be helpful to you.
What we haven’t been able to offer (until now) is a coaching program that specifically addresses whole health. This Spring, we will begin offering SSR coaching, which helps us effectively close the circle on coaching the client as a whole.
SSR (Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery) was created by Precision Nutrition so that coaches can break through roadblocks and truly have an opportunity to help their clients succeed. I am among the first coaches certified through Precision Nutrition for this specialized coaching and am excited to be able to offer it to you.

Motivation begins with action. It can’t exist or last without it. SSR is a process of identifying the small actions that build solid practices and hone the skills that will help lead you to your goals.
We may learn that the skills that need attention are about movement, or maybe about nutrition, sleep, or even about breathing better… Together we’ll discover areas for improvement and build a strategy to move forward.

- At the consultation (30 minutes) we’ll ask each other questions so we know if it’s the right fit.
- If you decide to move forward, we’ll book your kickoff (45 minutes) and take it from there.
In order to provide the highest level of service, space will be limited. Consultations will be scheduled in March and sessions will run from April – June.
