You’ve heard us say it over and over – You can’t out-train a bad diet. But also, your diet is not just about weight loss or maintenance. It’s the essence of your health. Learning about the foods that can help you thrive is a major game changer.
You may have heard that we have new coach on staff, Ashley, who is also a Registered Dietician. Ashley’s expertise goes beyond a food coach to a clinical level of guidance (that’s even covered by most insurance). Here is a note from Ashley:
Hi there. I’m Ashley! I am a new coach here at Boutique Fitness, having recently completed the Coach to Coach program. I’m so excited to start working with all of you!
I am available for private training as well as group training on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays mid-day. Aside from coaching, I am also a registered dietitian! As a dietitian, I work with clients helping them to better understand their nutritional needs and achieving their goals. Whether the goal is for weight loss, more energy, or fueling for a marathon, I work to provide individualized nutrition plans tailored to meet your needs.
Working with a dietitian can be incredibly useful if you have ever felt confused or overwhelmed when it comes to your nutrition. Given that there is so much information available to you through social media or the internet, it can be difficult to know what is the best option for you. That’s where working with a dietitian can be beneficial. Dietitians are board certified health care professionals who are required to complete continued education yearly, meaning we know our stuff. 🙂
Dietitians can help in numerous sectors of your life, such as fueling before and after your workouts, understanding what supplements are best for you, inflammation and recovery, digestive dysfunction, hormone imbalances, mood and cognitive function, and weight management. Dietitians can also help in creating a positive relationship with food by providing strategies for enjoying your favorite meals without anxiety or guilt.
Services that I provide include:
- One-on-one counseling (weekly, biweekly)
- Individualized nutrition plans
- Food journal review
- Pre and post-workout nutrition plans
- Meal planning examples
- Grocery lists
- Text and email support
If you’re interested in amplifying your workouts by refining your nutrition, or simply want to better understand your nutritional needs, consider scheduling an appointment with me. You can learn more about my services at forknfitnutrition.com or email me at awhewelloptimalhealth@gmail.com
P.S. Nutrition counseling is also covered by most insurance plans. I currently accept Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United, and BMC (WellSense).
Looking forward to working with all of you!
Best,
Ashley
