The main job of the core is to stabilize the spine. Challenge your core with these ‘simple’ movements.

Alternating Back Lunge with Overhead Hold

With a nice tight grip, stack the dumbells over the shoulders. Make sure to keep the core tight and the overhead weight in control.

Lunge back, alternating legs. Stand tall everytime between lunges, making sure to ‘check in’ with your glutes.

Mountain Climbers

Using the dumbbells as your anchors, get into a tall plank – stacking the shoulders over the hands. Tuck in one knee and alternate – picking up the pace as you go. Make sure to keep the shoulders forward, over the hands so that your core stays engaged.
