10 KB Deadlift to Squat
10 Pushup with Alternating Reach
5x
Another great combo for your hips and core. It’s important to remember that not every exercise is about speed and power. Sometimes you need to slow down in order to make the most of a movement.
This deadlift/squat combination can get confusing and sloppy if you try to rush it. Your bum should be high for the deadlift right through to the end of the repetition and THEN you squat – making sure your chest is open ad knees inline (or outside of line) with your toes, never caving in. Send the bum high again before picking up the KB and separate the deadlift from the squat.
Slowing down is just as important for the pushup/reach. You want to avoid shifting from side to side as much as possible when you reach one arm forward. The core needs to stay solid through pushup, glutes fired up to help with stability.
Take your time with each movement and allow your hips and core to carry you through.
