If your hips are tight, you’ll want to do these lunges.
Spider Lunges for the Hips
Keep the shoulders over the hands and the core strong. Step your right foot as close to your right hand as possible and sink the hips toward the floor for a deep hip stretch. Alternate sides.
Elvis Lunges for the Hips
Start in a sumo squat with the hips low, and knees pulled apart as much as possible – feeling a stretch in the adductors (inner-thighs) while activating the glutes.
Staying nice and low, turn to the right, shifting into a lunge and pulling the left knee way in – fulling activating your adductors. The movements should be exaggerated to get the full effect throughout the hips.
