20 Stability Ball Leg Curls

The stability ball is one of those home gym tools that has stood the test of time. It’s particularly wonderful for glute/core work and even for stretching the back.

When doing the the SB Leg Curls, it’s important to keep the glutes active (so there’s no bend in the hips). This will take the pressure off the back of the knees and demand a lot of work from your behind. You’ll be compensated with a firm rear end.

The hover plank will test the integrity of your whole core (torso, hips, glutes). Make sure to ‘lock’ in place as you swing your leg out to the side. You will feel everything pull together to help keep you from rolling onto the floor.

Here’s a [super old] video of a Flex/Extend on the stability ball. It feels so good on your back!
